Users with the Add Files permission or Admin permission can add notes to a binder. 


There are three ways a note can be added.


1. Using the Add Menu at the top right of ML Binders. 


2. Selecting the Action Button on any binder


3. Clicking into the flyout menu on any section/subsection in a binder



Adding a Note from the homepage


1. Select the Add button at the top right.


2. Select Add Note.



3. Select Add Note.


4. Fill out the information in the modal.



Title: Enter the title of the note. 


Note: Enter the details of the note.


Binder: Select the Binder where you would like this note to appear.


Section: Select the Section of the Binder where the note will be displayed.


Tags: Select any existing tags you would like to apply to the note. This can be used later for searching and reporting. 


5. Click Save.


Once that note has been added, it will be viewable in the Binder. You can then select the title of the note to view it. 




When viewing the note, you can update it and download it if necessary.




When a note is added, it will be displayed on the homepage under the recent activity section.




Adding a Note from a Binder


1. Select Binders from the left-side navigation menu.


2. Select a Binder.


3. Select the Action Button on the Binder and click Add Note.



4. Fill out the information in the modal.


Note: Since you're adding a note from the Binder directly, that field will automatically be filled out. 


5. Click Save.



Adding a Note from a Section


1. Select Binders from the left-side navigation menu.


2. Select a Binder.


3. Select the three black dots next to a binder section.


4. Click Add Note.



5. Fill out the information in the modal.


6. Click Save. 


Note: Since you're adding a note from the Section directly, the binder and section field will automatically be filled out.
