Administrators can add, edit, or delete systems. Systems refer to specific physical building systems, such as HVAC and technology. They are independent binder settings that can be used in any of your account's binders, regardless of any Dependent setting applied.
The Systems setting is optional, but is a primary category to index and retrieve content.
Some common systems include:
• Architectural
• Electrical, Low Voltage
• Electrical, Power & Distribution
• Furnishings
• Information Technology (IT)
• Mechanical
• Plumbing
To add a new system:
Select Settings > Binders > Systems. The Manage Systems page appears.
- Click
. The Manage System page appears.
- Enter a System name.
- Click Save.
To manage an existing system:
- Select Settings > Binders > Systems. The Manage Systems page appears.
Next to the system you want, do any of the following:
To... Then... Edit a system a. Click . The Manage System page appears.
b. Make any desired edits.
c. Click Save.
Delete a system
Note: You can only delete a system that is not associated with a binder. Click
.
Important: The system is deleted immediately without a confirmation.
